Origin details – The Abakundakawa Cooperative was founded in 1999 in the Gakenke District. This group has positively benefitted the community with access to health insurance, agricultural resources, and has helped to create a stable income and a valuable support network for its farmer members. Their association with the Rwandan Misozi group has brought them to worldwide recognition.
